Wrong size? No stress.

Ordering a ring online can feel tricky, especially when it comes to sizing. If your Sailors & Seekers ring arrives and the fit is not quite right, get in touch within 30 days and we will help you organise a free resize.

Free resizing on eligible rings. There is no charge for the resize itself. Customers are responsible for shipping their ring to us and for return shipping.

Try it on

When your ring arrives, try it on properly and make sure the fit feels right. Your finger size can change slightly during the day, so it is worth testing it when your hands are not too cold or swollen.

Contact us within 30 days

If the size is not right, get in touch within 30 days of receiving your order. Include your order number, your current ring size and the size you need.

Send it back to us

Send the ring back to Sailors & Seekers and include a prepaid return satchel inside your package. Once we receive and inspect the ring, we will complete the approved resize and send it back to you.

How the free resize works

What is free?

The resizing itself is free for eligible rings when the request is made within 30 days of receiving your order.

Who pays for shipping?

All shipping costs associated with the resize are the customer’s responsibility. This includes shipping the ring to Sailors & Seekers and the cost of having the resized ring returned to you.

Include a prepaid return satchel

Please include a prepaid return satchel inside your package when sending the ring to us. We will use this satchel to return your resized ring once the work is complete.

What if I do not include a return satchel?

If a prepaid return satchel is not included with your ring, a return shipping charge will apply before the resized ring can be sent back to you.

Rings with inside engraving

The resize itself is still free. However, if your ring has inside engraving, a one-time $29 engraving restoration charge applies where the engraving needs to be removed, restored or recreated as part of the resizing process.

What condition should it be in?

The ring needs to be returned in a clean and undamaged condition. Normal try-on handling is fine, but rings that have been damaged, modified or significantly altered may not be eligible under this policy.

Can every ring be resized?

Not every ring can be resized safely or practically. The amount a ring can be resized may depend on its design, construction, stones, setting style and the size adjustment required. We will confirm whether the requested resize is possible before beginning any work.

Ring sizing is one of the hardest parts of ordering jewellery online. Our Free 30 Day Ring Resize gives you some extra flexibility if the fit is not quite right the first time.

The resize request must be made within 30 days of receiving your order.

Eligible rings receive one free resize within the 30 day period.

There is no charge for the resize itself.

Damaged, significantly worn, modified or otherwise altered rings may not be eligible under this policy.

Resizing is subject to the design and construction of the ring and the requested size adjustment being technically possible.

Before sending your ring back

Please contact us before returning your ring so we can confirm the size adjustment and whether the ring can be safely resized. Remember to include a prepaid return satchel inside your package. If your ring has inside engraving, we will also confirm whether the one-time $29 engraving restoration charge applies before work begins.
