A ring should feel comfortable, stay put and slide over your knuckle without a struggle. Choose one of the three methods below to find your starting size.
Print your ring sizer.
Our two-page A4 guide gives you a choice: match a ring you already own, use the millimetre strip, or read your US size directly from the second strip.
How to use it
- Open the PDF and print on A4 at 100% or Actual size. Turn off Fit or Shrink to page.
- Use a ruler to check the 100 mm line and 20 mm square before measuring.
- Place a well-fitting ring over the circles, or cut out a measuring strip and follow the guide.
Matching a ring? Choose one worn on the same finger, ideally with a similar band width. Match the inside edge of your ring to the outside of the printed circle.

- Open the app using the button below.
- Complete its calibration steps before taking a measurement.
- Follow the prompts and note your US ring size. Recheck if the result is different from a size you normally wear.
Try string or a strip of paper.
You will need non-stretch string or a narrow strip of paper, a pen and a ruler marked in millimetres.
- Wrap it around the base of the finger you want to measure. Keep it comfortable, without pulling tight.
- Mark the point where the ends meet. Check that the loop can also pass over your knuckle.
- Lay it flat and measure from the starting edge to your mark in millimetres. This is your finger circumference.
- Repeat 2-3 times, then use the lookup below or open the size chart.

Use the circumference column for string or paper. Inside diameter is the width across the inside of an existing ring.

A few things worth knowing.
Measure the right finger.
The same finger can be a different size on your other hand. Measure the finger you will actually wear the ring on.
Keep things comfortable.
Very cold or swollen hands can change the result. Measure at a comfortable temperature and repeat a few times.
Think about the band.
A wide band can feel tighter than a narrow one. Between sizes or choosing engraving? Check with us before ordering.
