The Maha-Kali
The Maha-Kali
The Maha-Kali is a sterling silver pendant centred around Kali, the fierce goddess of time, destruction, protection, and transformation.
At the heart of the pendant, Kali rises in high relief, full of movement and detail. Her body is framed with armour-like forms, layered ornaments, and flowing shapes that give the figure a powerful, battle-worn presence. Around her neck sits a skull garland, one of Kali’s most recognisable symbols, representing the ending of ego, illusion, and all things that no longer serve.
Her multiple arms hold weapons and ritual objects, each one adding to the sense of force and divine action. The weapons speak to Kali’s role as the destroyer of darkness and protector against fear. Around the outer edge, a ring of skulls forms a heavy border, giving the pendant a darker ceremonial feel.
The medallion itself is rounded and substantial, with a raised frame that makes the centre feel almost like an ancient shrine cast into silver. Oxidised shadows sit deep in the details, bringing out the face, arms, skulls, armour, and weapons with a relic-like finish.
Bold, spiritual, and unapologetically detailed, The Maha-Kali is made for those drawn to jewellery with mythology, power, and meaning.
Cast and hand finished in the Macedon Ranges, Australia.
