The Surya
The Surya
THE SURYA
The Sun looks peaceful from a distance. Look closer, and its surface is alive.
At the heart of The Surya rests a warm citrine, representing the inner fire we carry within us. Around the stone, the sterling silver has been given a raw, granulated texture inspired by the Sun’s restless surface, a vast boiling ocean of heat, movement and transformation.
From that turbulent centre, polished circles travel steadily outward. They represent the energy we carry into the world through the way we love, create, endure and show up for one another.
The Surya is a reminder that you do not need a life without turbulence to become a source of light.
The difficult seasons do not diminish your warmth. Sometimes, they are where it is forged.
Protect your inner fire. Let it move through everything you have endured. Then let it reach beyond you.
The Citrine: The inner sun, representing warmth, purpose, vitality and the part of us that refuses to go dark.
The Boiling Ocean: The rough silver surrounding the stone represents the restless surface of the Sun. It reminds us that light can exist alongside turbulence.
The Radiating Circles: The energy we send beyond ourselves through our actions, our creativity and the way we affect the lives around us.
The Darkness Between: A reminder that darkness does not defeat light. It gives light somewhere to be seen.
Every Surya pendant is cast in my Studio and finished by hand. The texture, oxidisation, stone and exact dimensions will vary slightly from piece to piece.
These variations are not imperfections. They are the marks of an object made by human hands, giving every pendant its own surface and character.
