The story behind the piece

Back when the ocean ruled and maps were just guesses, swallows meant everything to a sailor. Tattooed on skin or carved into keepsakes, they were like a declaration, a promise to return. One swallow meant a thousand nautical miles travelled. Two meant you were seasoned, trusted by the sea, and likely to find your way back.

This ring borrows from that lineage. A nod to the past, forged for the present.

These days, we fly on jets instead of ships. Chase careers, cities, lovers and dreams across borders. We leave pieces of ourselves in new places, thinking that’s what growth looks like.
